Say hello to Amy! She joined our family a couple of weeks ago after a neighbour alerted us to her. She was found in a box under a bush jut down the road! She's in good health, just a little skinny, but she's steadily putting on weight. My guess would be that she was about 7-8 weeks old when we got her, though she is still smaller than our other 2 girls were when we got them.

She's now in with our other girls and has settled in well. She gets bossed about by Leila bosspig, but that was expected really with her being so small. She's really brave considering what she's been through and how young she is, she was taking food from my hand after a couple of days of being here! She's VERY vocal too and wheeks at just about any noise

Can anyone help me identify what breed she is please? I now she's liable to be a cross, but I can see so many things going on with her coat; crested, a little abyssinian at the front, super soft hair at the back which seems a little longer than normal, but not sure if it will grow more.

To me I think she looks like a bit of everything! She cant seem to make up her mind on being short haired or long haired! But she is STUNNINGdroolx)

She's beautiful! Well done for taking her on. I'm not too sure about her breed though, I can see what you mean about the Abyssinian bit. I guess she could be a Ridgeback X because of the sort of ridge that runs down her back, but still, I'm not sure!

I don't know what breed but she is gorgeous. How could anyone have left her in a box! Poor baby.

Amy x) What a sweetie!

How can someone leave an aminal in a box. Makes me so mad. Glad she is safe with you now.

Can I just say What an absolute angel you are by nursing her back to health! X You should be very proud of yourself! X

What a cutie! I hope that she recovers quickly from her ordeal! It is difficult to say what else is in there as she has only got a little bit. Could be ridgeback or just a hint of peru.

Thanks all, she really is such a sweet wee thing. I can't believe how fast she has settled in! We wanted to get a fourth anyway when Hermes joins nibbler and Leila to even numbers out so glad we took little Amy in. Whoever dumped her can't be right in the head. At least she'll have a better life now.

Oh my god I cannot believe she was dumped like that. How cruel to do that. Anything could have happened to her. It is so lucky she was found and has a loving home in you. She is beautiful and despite her ordeal she is very smiley.

I had to have that smiley picture as my userpic, first time I've managed to capture anything like that from my lot. :)

Amy had another weigh in this morning, she's put on 100g since we got her 2 1/2 weeks ago!
