I thought you might like to see how the girls are settling in.
Both girls were a bit unsure when they got here - well they had come all the way from Leeds! - the smooth haired girly was a bit braver, but the Swiss girly was quite shy and a bit unsure. We left them very quietly with lots of nice hay and meusli to settle in.
It is now 48 hours later and I am really pleased to say they seem to be settling in very well! Helen has kindly given us her approval to change their names...so may I introduce...
Muffin
And Crumpet
Both girls have taken 2 days to work out when dinner is, and wow are they loud wheekers! Crumpet is the braver of the two and usually first out, Muffin has been more reluctant but today at 6.30pm was standing quite boldly in the middle of the hutch, nose in the air, 'WHERE IS MY NOMS?!' hehe!
I have put one of the hammock houses Bex (RuledByGPs) made for us in the hutch, so there is less scary open space for them, and both girls love it
And just for AudioHeart...the pink palace! With pink pigloo, pink bowl, pink hammock house, pink bottle and pink bottle cover (both girls are just so pretty, pink was the ONLY appropriate colour...poor old Bruno when he moves in...)
I am off on my holidays on Friday and Mummy DoeyL is in charge of the piggies, then when I get back as long as they are relaxed and happy we are going to let them meet Bruno...fingers crossed they all get along!
