I was able to take Emmy down to our local shelter and have her meet some sows and it went great! We of course have an extra cage ready to slowly infroduce them, but they did good at the shelter and I have them now on neural territory and all is good. The new pig just wants food and Emmy is doing lots of sniffing and happy little squeaks to her. Emmy is however not biting her hair, but gently almost grooming her...what does that mean?
Our new piggy is in need of some tlc, vet care and a major diet, but I feel like I can give her a good life.
Meet Josie!

I posted her story in the health section.

They both seem pretty chilled. Emmy is just talking ups happy storm to Josie. Josie had a a little bit of teeth chattering, but very minor.

Ok I have to ask what a choooooken leg is?-c

You know how piggies sit or lie down with their leg sticking out? We call it an adorable chicken/chooken leg! It's just a cute nickname for something lots of piggies do!
