Wow nice and comfy looking place you've got there. :smitten:

Sorry the ignorance....
:embarassed: what do you do with the fleece after one or two days - washing machine?
Do you have to or three separate sheets of fleece....like one in the cage and one on the line?

I'm asking because I keep mine on newspaper, woodshavings and hay, but the fleece sounds good....might try the fleece instead!

Mine are on fleece in my shed and I gather the fleece up the empty it into a garden bag then shake the bits that are stuck onto the compost. Then put it the washing machine on a reasonable temp without conditioner just use washing powder. Once we are all clean I spin my machine with a dettol solution if you have some bits from the fleece I use the hoover to get them out. :)

Yay fleece is a good choice for me! although it kinda stinko if I didn't do my daily scooping of peeps. hahahahaa.. but after a few more wash, the fleece became much better and doesn't absorb the pee.

There are 3 layers.. the uppermost layer is the 100% polyester fleece that the piggies lie/pee/poop on.. it is polyester so it won't absorb pee. Below the fleece is a 100% cotton towel.. the towel will absorb the pee instead =D

I wash the fleece/towel once a week.. sometimes when i got lazie and busy, may be more than 7 days =X
but the smell isn't so bad. No wet bumbum too =D But of cos, daily poo scooping required.

Oh you, i even put newspaper and some beddings below the towel (in case the towel can't absorb any more pee) LOLOL ~

but so far the pee didn't sip pass the newpaper. hehehe ;) ;)

Oh you.. you can go search for the "Fleece Project" posted... i don't have the URL at my workplace here though. but u may be able to google it or some forumers can help =D

Fleece is definitely a good choice.. hehehe oh you, my mum doesn't allow me to use the washing machine for my piggies fleece/towel =( so gotta hand wash the fleece and towel myself. tough job! hahahahaa.

hehehe i hope my piggies love their home.. Sugar and coffee always run about like crazy when i wanna carry them out from the cage.. they dun seems to like me carrying them. boohOoo :'( :'( or they love the cage too much? LOLOL~ I'm not so sure.. but Coffee always make noise when i wanna carry her out. eeeeks. i wonder other piggie owners got such experience~ ? :-\
