obviously both pretty nervous ive popped them in their wee house and there they will stay until they are ready to come out.

i've got water, food, meadow hay and readigrass in the run for them along with a slice of pepper and cucumber for each near the entrance to the house just incase they are tempted.

i got them from the little rescue nearby shes a cat rescue normally but she had some guinea pigs in from a lady she'd known.

I think she said they were around 8 weeks old?

Is it normal for them to be so still in there? lol i thought i'd hear them moving around in the house at least

I think they will be very shy, but probably cheeky if young.

Just give them time, give them lots of covered things so they feel safe and perhaps go near to the cage but dont try to get them all the time, let them know that sometimes they can come out and you wont pick them up?

One of my boys has always been shy and wont come anywhere near and he is over two now, although if you have food he is at the front of the cage you know, little devil. But the other one has never been shy and will always come to you.

i have never owned a black piggy they look stunning Lovely! X

Aww they are gorgeous :) I hope the settle in nicely, lots of treats is always a way to a piggies heart ;) haha

But how do you tell them both apart?

yay they finally came out, buzz had a little nibble on some hay and is now having a rummage around in his house!

Buzz has a little nick in one of his ears - literally the only difference between the two!

Definitely gorgeous! The only trouble with black piggies is that it's so hard to see if anything is wrong with them.... cut toenails... check ears.... look at skin....
But they look amazing!

They are gorgoeus! Congrats, you must be very excited
