I've just been out to feed the animals before dark, and found our rabbit, Squeak, aged 9 & 3/4, in his forever sleep.
I now have a distraught 12 year old, as we have had this rabbit since my son was three.

Always in our hearts, we love you. x

be happy hopping at the bridge Squeak!

hugs to you and your son - I know what I was like when I found our rabbits sleeping forever was absolutely distraught xx

Sorry to hear about Squeak. What a grand old age he was. I'm sure he'll be eating lots of luscious long grass over the rainbow bridge and thinking about his lovely life with you xx

awww I'm sorry to hear that my 13 year old was so distressed when 1 of our rabbits went to rainbow bridge that she nearly got in the grave with him 8...

I am so sorry - it's so hard when you lose a pet that has been there virtually all your life long!

RIP

AWWW RIP Squeak.

That's so very sad and again what a wonderful age for your rabbit, you must have done a marvellous job with him

I'm sorry to hear this sad news. Binky free at the bridge sweet bunny and watch over your family who will miss you terribly..

I'm so sorry for you loss. Big hugs to you, and your son. Losing a pet you grew up with is very difficult.

Rest well, dear Squeak. xx

Thats such a good age. I know exactly how your son feels. My parents got me a rabbit when I was 5 years old and he died when I was 19 (I'm now 26 ) and I couldn't bring myself to get another rabbit until this time last year!

When Thumper died my parents were away so my sister drove me to the vets to have him put down (as his back legs went and he had other problems), I had him cremated and my parents bought home a beautiful wooden calved rabbit that showed his character which sits on top of his ashes.

I'm really sorry about Squeak and I hope your son is alright, trust me I know how he feels xx
