Hi, looking for some advise. I take my piggie outside to play most days (weather permitting) although I've noticed he closes his eyes a lot outside, i presume he is squinting. He IS NOT in direct sunshine and the area he is in is always shaded. He always seems very happy to be in here, he explores around and popcorns away. He has hides and an indoor shelter which he will take a nap in, but usually likes to sprawl out in the open. I understand his eyes are sensitive? And starting to worry about him being outside. I guess he would go inside his indoor house if he was bothered?

Being a REW does not stop him from going outside. He may squint more though.

The temperature element goes for all piggies - 25 degrees or above is dangerous for all guinea pigs, even in the shade - so no piggies should be outside during a hot day
