Outdoor run

Hi,
I recently got 2 guinea pigs and I am fortunate to have a very large garden which is ideal. However my partner made them a very large run which they love being out in and they also have their hutch in there. The problem is that we move the run every week but have noticed that where it has been the grass is dying. We do have a patio area that I can put the hutch back onto but I like them to be able to have access to the grass when they want it. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. We live in a rented house so don't really want the garden to be ruined.

I would try moving it twice a week, we have a run and bunny ark which we move about 2 or 3 days and don’t have any discolouring. If it’s still dying off give the area a good water, it’s probably urine scald which can happen with female doggies too.
Our boys always go back inside the bunny ark to pee and poo which I suppose has its benefits with regard to the grass x
