Weepweeps advised me on 6th Jan that we could do ultrasound to check for stones and we didn't call the vet to book this until 23rd Jan, that's over two weeks. Okay, first week it seemed like she was getting better but I can't explain the second week. I can't explain why it took us so long, obviously we had been here before and she wasn't getting worse and worse, just staying the same (which was squealing not every time but we heard it maybe a few times a day). And yes for the most part she was still pigging. But someone said in this thread that girls can pass stones themselves, unless they're too big and then it's an emergency. Why did I read that but still think it wasn't a potential emergency? Of course we will never make this mistake again but that does nothing to bring her back. We hadn't seen her popcorn in months. She held on for so long from before Christmas when we first noticed her strange pooping/peeing posture, to when she died. Five weeks. Five weeks doing her best but wondering why no one was helping her. I just don't know what's wrong with me.
