Hi,
I know there has been a few posts regarding over feeding, I have looked at these and the sticky thread, but I was wondering if you could let me know if I am overfeeding?
My Mum looked after my 2 GP's at the weekend, and she said that I do give them a lot of food. On a normal day they get -
Timothy Hay (Excel Herbage at the moment, since I tried them on this and now they do not eat the normal Hay from P@H!).
I refill their bowl with pellets, so it just covers the bottom, this is normally gone by the morning.
Fruit and veg wise they get - 3 large leaves of romain lettuce, a few slivers of pepper, 1 thick slice of cucumber (about 1cm thick), couple of stalks each of corriander/parsley, and now and again half a sweetcorn, or a few smallish squares of apple.
They get that once in the morning and once at night. They do not get treats unless its a few dandelion leaves, and they go out for roughly 3 hours a day if the weather is good.
Sorry for the long post, but could you tell me if this is too much? They are 3 and a half months old.
Thank you in advance.
Alex
