Ive been letting my girls settle for a while before I handled them too much etc etc. I was checking thm over last night to see that there was no ailments or anything I should be worried about....Pixie seems really chunky I dont know if shes been overfed preiously and I know its not bloat because she is eating drinkin weeing and pooing absolutely fine. her nipples are also long as well but I'm sure they can be all different shapes and sizes. Ive had a little feel round her stomach and there doesnt seem to be anything out of the ordinary so thats whats making me think shes overweight? i only give her a few pellets a day with unlimmited hay and some fresh veggies (although she didnt know what they were at first!) I can post pics if need be. Her back feet are also looking a bit red I dont know if its because she was previously lined with shavings and I use carefresh? She gets runtime on carpet as well if that could be irritating her? Sorry for all the questions :x xx

Longer nipples indicate that Pixie has had a pregnancy. Guinea pigs come in all shapes and sizes, so there is not one "right" weight for any given age and breed. Pixie sounds and looks perfectly normal to me from your pictures in the other thread!

But here is a thread that may answer some of your questions:

Slightly red feed are not to worry about; piggies have them when they are warm. You are looking out for specific red spots or areas that look inflamed and hot to the touch.

Guinea pigs come in all shapes and sizes so I wouldn't worry if she's a bit on the chunky side. It's a good idea to weigh your pigs weekly as it's a good indicator of health issues. :)

Coming up for 2 weeks? I was told the owners were "immigrating" but came across as the children had just got fed up with her. And with bonding her and Elf I didnt want to intervine (sp) too much ? xx

This is a link for bumble foot; guinealynx is the best medical website we have. White feet can look very pink at times without there being a problem!

If you are worried, you may like to have your girls checked over by a vet and given a clean bill of health. It pays to look for a good one with experience in guinea pigs. Asking your local rescue which vet they use or could recommend can be a good way.

They dont look swollen or anything like that there is no cuts sore etc etc and it doesnt look like bumble foot .... In closer inspection they both have slightly red feet. I had thought it was due to the carefresh ill keep a close eye though :) xx
