Just a little PSA:
I bought my boys this Timothy hut that they could both go under and eat and I noticed when I cleaned the cage that it was moldy. I’m assuming because they per under it and the pee was absorbed into it. I noticed it was wet a lot. I took it out and threw it away. Just want everyone to be aware in case they have one or are thinking of getting one. Also if anyone knows the best hideout/hut to get that won’t collect mold let me know!

A cardboard box is the cheapest and most economical guinea pig house/hidey you can use. My piggies love their boxes. They can chew/nibble it just fine. Those boxes you get from an Amazon delivery or any other boxes will just perfectly do. Just cut out doors/entrances (2 entrances at least) and that would be good.

I was doing that too, just had to keep tossing them out because they would pee inside them. I’ll have to get one and flip it over so the bottom of the box becomes the top so they can pee in it. Thanks
