In my experience (and many of you will probably agree) Guinea Pigs tend to be prone to illness, even with the best possible care, they can still become sick. Although my Guinea Pigs are fed a proper diet, and I care for them to the best of my ability, I still worry about their health, as we all do I'm sure, I want them to live the longest and healthiest life possible. So therefore I was looking at these Oxbow supplements, the immune support ones in particular, to feed all 8 of my girls daily, I wonder if they will actually help?

I've heard mixed reviews, but apparently they do work if they are fed consistently and daily, which I do plan to feed daily.

What are your guy's thoughts, maybe some of you have used these supplements?

Just bumping this up for you in case anyone has experience

the only ones i use on a regular basis are the joint support for an arthrtic older piggie, use vitamin c reg on those piggies that will eat hay tablets.i have seen in a guinea pig magazine where some supplements were used with good effect but i cannot remeber which ones, but must have beenno later than last 6 issues ,because ive only been getting mag for that length of time

I have a box but I only give my old boy as tiny piece as a treat because he has bladder sludge.

I have noticed that my other two refuse to eat them, although they both like the digestive support ones.

My vet said that they might not help but they certainly won't harm so give them a whirl.

Let us know what the piggies think
