Hey, I'm in a stuck situation atm because for some reason all of oxbows products are out of stock everywhere, I can't find hay, pellets or supplements on any site in bulk sizes.

I can't find any good alternatives that are in stock either. Is anyone else struggling with finding stock and can anyone suggest good quality alternatives? Thanks in advance
 
I have had to wean Snoopy off of the urinary support tablets (i gave them as he drinks and pees a lot and vet can find nothing wrong.) It was really expensive for a packet of them a couple of months ago £40 😱😱😱. I don't feed their nuggets but have started mine on the verse laga cavia complete nuggets and they seem to like them.
 
I've not been able to get an 11kg bag of pellets for ages now, its very frustrating. I just buy the 4.5kg and feed less pellets every other day for now. Luckily I've been able to get critical care no problems which is the only other product of theirs I use, but I've got friends who haven't been able to get the supplements for months, especially the vitamin C ones. There's been an issue importing it or something, I cant remember what I read now.
 
I've just tried to restock my hay and can't find Oxbow anywhere either 😱 The Hay Experts have none in any size, my local pet shop and Pets at Home website ditto. I don't know what's going on ... Is it due to covid, or something else? To make matters worse, The Hay Experts don't have any of their own brand timothy hays which my pigs usually like, so I don't know what I will get them instead. Last time I bought Burgess, it was far too stalky and hard for my 3.
I had a look at Oxbow's website, there's nothing on there to say they have any stock or delivery issues. 😱

I'm currently all stocked up with pellets and timothy hay - but when i went to look for oxbow orchard hay, i noticed the stock problem on all the oxbow products.

Hyperdrug had a small pack of oxbow orchard but it is a very small pack only.
 
The hay experts were my go to every month for 3 years also, but since the pandemic I haven't ordered from them as they never have the bulk sizes available now.

I wasn't able to get any oxbow products so I bought science selective grain free pellets and small pet select 2nd cut hay in 22kg from amazon instead, can recommend for those unable to get oxbow too!

My piggies are upset they don't get their oxbow vitamin c cookie every morning now (I give it more as a treat) but they will have to wait until its back in stock 😭
 
Amazon has the vit c cookies (at twice the price!) And i got oxbow timothy hay no prob from amazon and cavy cuisine pellets recently too.

Although there is an oxbow shortage, a thorough google search should reap rewards
