I just bought these Oxbow Vit c tablets for guineas for Jack and tried him on one but he absolutely refuses to eat them full stop.

So, who wants to buy them off me? £10 inc postage (cost me £13.20) minus 1 tablet! only opened them today and they are in a sealed container.

Anyone got any ideas about a vit c supplement which is more in liquid form that I could just syringe to him everyday to make sure he gets it? (he doesn't drink enough water to put it in there and never eats all of his food)...

He seems quite pleased with the hay taster selection pack i got him tho hehe!

If you put them behind his front teeth at the side towards the back of his mouth he should chew them, if he spits it back at you try again, when you get it in the right place he won't be able to spit it back & should chew it :)

Are you giving Jack extra Vit C because he's ill?

the vet said he needed some extra vit c as he seemed quite uncomfortable when he held him. He is an extremely picky eater. I will try him again with another tablet...

A pig who seems uncomfortable when held is more likely to have a skin problem - or just being handled incorrectly. I don't know any pigs who are comfortable being poked and prodded by a vet! If he is uncomfortable with being held or touched when being held normally, then a skin problem is the next thing to look at.

As long as you are giving him a varied diet of fruit and veg daily, along with lots of hay and a high quality dry feed, then there's not usually any need to supplement.

I think PiggiePal was saying that his piggy might have a Vitamin C deficiency because he doesn't eat all of his veggies due to being a really picky eater. Could it be possible?

You could maybe try crushing it and sprinkling it on his food if you wanted to persist with the tablets. You can buy pill crushers in small chemists.
