I've started feeding my guinea pigs Oxbow Orchard Grass right and wrong thing to do really!
I fill their hay racks up and its gone when I come in from work good that they are enjoying it like but its now gone up to £30 for a 4.05kg bag!
Ive ordered another bag as I can't stop them from having it now but got an email saying when they went to the bay to pack it there was none there so I have to wait now til next week!
I dont know whether I have already asked on here but does anyone know where I could get this cheaper!?

I'm assuming this is from the hay experts? I get mine from there and pay £30 too - but it does last for a long time so I convince myself it is worth it, but it is a bit of a rip off to be honest.

Nah, it was from Pet Supermarket!
I was only £24 but all of a sudden its gone up to £30

My pigs love the oxbow hay, but it is pricey.

I get "cheap" hay which forms the main bulk of their hay intake - they eat it, play in it, sleep on it, chuck it about. I get it from a livestock place, or buy it in larger bags online, depending on how lazy I'm feeling!

On top of this, I buy "expensive" hays, like the oxbow orchard grass, oat hay and stuff, and give this to them in smaller amounts (to be honest, normally before I go to bed so I get some peace and quiet!).

My lot adore Oxbow Orchard Grass too but haven't had it for a while.

I try and mix and match between hays to give them a bit of a change. I think I got my last lot from the Hay Experts, but we don't have much storage space... not that it'd last long given half the chance! :))

Why not try hay from hay for pets? I got a huge nine kilo bag of Timothy and Rye hay for fifteen pounds and my piggies love it. :)

Maybe they noticed that the hay experts were charging £6.00 more and realised they could get away with it too!

Thats what I do too! I think its like an extra special treat for them then too! I like getting them the 'Woodlands' mix packets and letting them forage and munch their way through them over a weekend :))

I bought my last batch from PetSupermarket for the reduced price too, so am gutted it's gone up so much - not really surprised though as it was a good deal. I haven't been able to find it anywhere cheaper sadly.

I do give them hay aswell but this was just for a treat but it's gone within a day!
My guinea pigs are very spoilt as you can tell, I would say they get better fed then me haha

I suppose £30 is still cheap as I've been looking on eBay and amazon and it's £50 for the 4.03kg bag!
