hi
has anyone ever tried their piggies with p@h dried fruit or vegies?
did they like them? ? ? ?

Sorry haven't tried the p@h ones but they've had dried fruit from the supermarket they loooorve it

I know they ones you are on about, I have never bought any or even had a good look at the ingredients. However, I think the dried fruit or veggies will be suitable for guineas as a treat once in a while. :)

yes i have tried the dried vegetables, mine like it except toffee, don't give regularly but you could do if you wanted, haven't tried the dried fruit as i presume it could be more fattening than fresh fruit.

the "dried bananna" in these things are actually fried so not very healthy, i think its done because how it looks when it is actually sun dried and the fried version looks healthier but isnt ;)

ok. ;D i'll give the veg a try but not the fruit ;)
can't believe they fry them :o

either did i until i seen in holland and barret actual dried banana ::)

mines have had the dried fruit but they weren't that impressed mines prefer the fresh kind although my friends pigs loved it (i donated the bag to her after mines refused)

Having read the ingredients i put them back on the shelf! theyre were various things wrong such as potatoe and leek in some of them :o and cant remember what was wrong with the fruit but there was also something unsuitable in the ingredients on those too.

Apparently there is a bit of potato in one of the naturals in P@H - not tried them though

Really? Next time I go I will have to have a look at all the treats. :)

Pets at home! and as someone has said some of the naturals range also contain unsuitable ingredients, not all of them though so you have to check the labels.

I have bought a few things from the range but looked at the ingriedients and most had rubbish bits in them..
Fresh is best!
