I have been reading the above thread on P@H muesli. Although many who posted dislike it, I have found little about the nuggets.

My two girlies are fed on the nuggets, simply because it was the first bag of food I grabbed, and they seem to enjoy them. I have recently purchased a Burgess bag of nuggets with black current and oregano, and I was thinking of either mixing the two or simply gradually moving them over to the Burgess.

Does anyone know if the P@H nuggets are a bad food? (Their hamster mixes are bad). I really want to feed my two the best, in addition to hay and fresh veggies.

Thank you all

I'm going to get a very small bag of Science Selective nuggets (the ones with the hole in the middle) and I'm going to thread them and hang them in the cage so my girls can spend time gnawing them off.

Oh now that's a good idea. I may try this too. 2 of mine love science selective and 1 isn't so keen. I feed a mix of burgess mint, and science selective with sometimes fiba first as a treat (fudge sometimes has soft poop and I find fiba first helps him) I also have harringtons nuggets too at moment. I just don't want them fixated on one specific brand as last time they changed burgess recipe there was a riot in the piggy room. lol.

That's an idea! Juli M do you store them in one box as a mix? The pellets I'm currently feeding are in a lock and lock box.

All my 4 pigs like the pets at home nuggets and they're low in calcium which is good.

Someone on here did quite a bit of research into different pellets and it usually came down to sugar and molasses content (of which pets at home are high). I once saw a comparison of pets at home nuggets being like coco pops and science selective being like cornflakes
