P@H refuse to sell pig!

Perhaps the recent watchdog is having an effect!

A friend of mine went in today looking for a new boar to go with her son's youngish boar (long story, didn't know what was going on else would have advised the rescue route etc) and they said they wouldn't sell her one as they were very likely to fight. And she had her young son there all excited and they still wouldn't sell.

What would have been perfect is if they'd suggested boar dating etc too (they didn't go that far but I'm thinking I might go with in with some piggy bank info) but I have to say i was quite impressed they wouldn't sell to someone in an unsuitable scenario.
 
I'm not convinced they will make a permanent change. I went in my local one today and I saw an ill looking fish just laying at the bottom of the tank.

Also someone 'adopted' two guinea pigs from them, the cage they bought was a 100 and not big enough for two, also they bought the cage at the same time as the piggies really their home should be all set up first as its stressfull for them in such a small box:(
