Ok not to moan but i was not impressed at all today wen i went into my local p@h, i went in and as usual had a look at the guinea pigs,

I made conversation with a lady that works there as i noticed there was no male piggies, She said to me we only had one left so we have put him in with the females WHAT i said are you mad they will breed.

She said to me they wont mate as they are to young.
I cant believe what i heard and what they have done but what shall i do about it?:(
 
Give that lady a printout from the guinealynx website? And tell her how many enquiries we're getting about pregnant female shop piggies and what to do?

Complaints to the management don't seem to work!
 
go back with a fistfull of printed material from the internet and some books and show them the error of their ways. demand to speak to the manager. Don;t get angry and frustrated just do your best!
 
Some of these pets@home's are rubbish really. That's just daft, you'd think they have to know their stuff.

I made a complaint about being sold a baby piggy with a URI to head office via their website and that got great results (not for the baby - she died and that's what truly matters). But they did take note, extra training happened for the staff in one store, compensation, etc. So as long as you are strong enough in your complaint and fair in the things you notice that they ARE doing right then it can work.

For this though I would head back down there with information as it seems to be just ignorance in that store maybe?
 
I would get in touch with head office explaining the situation and see what they say about it.
Some ppl are soo stupid grrrr

wow even i know baby g pigs can breed ! and I'm fairy novice g pig owner tut tut such a shame :(
 
Honestly. How stupid can some people be.

oh and suprise suprise your from the midlands, i live in westbromwich and ive had a bad experience with a p@h store! gemx
 
Hey guys i made a complaint and all they said was that they would try and do better for the future.
