Just got back from p @ h to sort out what they were going to do after ruby had a baby .

They were very good i got a new cage 2 bags of hay 10k bag of food and a £15 gift voucher they kept saying sorry as well.

they also said if we end up not wanting him they would find him a home rolleyes i dont think so .

That's great that you got all that stuff free :) At least they're good to do things like that.

I bought a pregnant guinea pig in a pet shop, and when we went back and said she was pregnant they were like, "Well what can we do, how are we meant to know if they're pregnant?!" rolleyes then they said they'd take her back! Like we would give her back. Then my dad pretended to be angry, though really he was delighted that she was pregnant, but in the end they gave us €15 off a new hutch only rolleyes so it was cost price, so they didn't get any money from us buying it, but still, they didn't lose any money and they didn't care that they sold a pregnant pig rolleyes

Anyway, I'm rambling, good luck with the baby :) Enjoy it while he's small and cute :)

P@H may have a bad reputation on here and with quite a lot of rescues, but you can't deny that they help as much as they can when things go wrong!

I'm glad they helped you out and mum and baby will now have enough food and space to keep them very happy! :)

Same thing happened to me. I bought Bumble home, 2 days later realised she was pregnant. Complained. Got told the likleyhood of them surviving was very low, got peed off with that answer and told them that the likleyhood of them surviving was high. Complained to head office, and they rung up the store right away and had words.I got my vet bill reimburst and an £80 cage. The manager tried to fob me off with the smallest cage they had, I declined and I got a bigger one.
Boofs gave birth to Bumble&Bee and I am in love with them all..x)
