Hi folks,

For those of you who are following Paddy's progress, here's an update.

Paddy had surgery on Friday 26th May to remove a lump that had grown under his nipple, which the bet suspected was a mammary tumour. The surgery went well and he was home that same day and back to his usual self a few days later. I took him for his post op check on 5th June, the results of the lump still weren't back, but the vet checked his wound and said that he was healing great and there's no signs of infections. The vet called me a couple of days ago with Paddy's results, the lump was a mammary tumour and has the potential to be malignant (cancerous) but the results seemed to suggest that they had removed it all. So now we are just watching for any signs of regrowth or swelling and I'm cleaning his wound daily to help it heal and prevent infection. So that's were we are at, I'm just obviously hoping there's no regrowth in the future as apart from the lump he is a healthy, happy boy and I want him to live life to the full. I'm determined to make the most of the time that I have left with him regardless of how long or how short that is.He may live for a few years yet (fingers crossed) and die of natural causes, so it's not necessarily a death sentence, thank God.

Love you my darling Paddy Bear

Get well soon Paddy Bear from all of us. You are such a brave boy and lucky to have such a caring piggy slave. Hugs to you both.

All the best! I a,m glad that Paddy has recovered well and has hopefully quite a bit more time to live!

You have given him the best chance. Let's hope you have plenty of quality time together.
