So I suffer from Fibromyalgia and the last few days I've been extremely poorly. I got Mikey out of his pen for a cuddle for the first time in a few days and needless to say he's made me feel so much better, he's such a mood lifter :)

He's beautiful! My piggies always manage to cheer me up and make me feel better :) I'm currently being referred to a Rheumatologist for suspected Fibro so I can sympathise slightly with how horrible it is, I hope you feel an improvement soon x
 
I was going to post to see if anyone had this condition.The docs thinks I have it and the last four days have been really bad.Is getting me down

It is, especially when the Dr doesn't seem to be taking it very seriously! It's good you've got Mikey to cuddle up to when you're feeling it most, I find animals always help with that sort of thing :)
 
I've had fibromyalgia for 5 years now, only diagnosed a few months ago. It's beginning to become a suffocation :(
 
That's terrible! :( Have you found any medicines particularly helpful? I hope it doesn't get worse! Do you tend to have surges of it? I've found it gets a lot worse with bad weather
 
agree with guinea pig tonic. Sometimes I'm so sore dont even feel up to cleaning out piggy cages but once I'm in them and changed fleeces and litter trays with them running round me and popcorning because of clean cage makes everything worth it. Coming down in the morning and feeling so tired but 5 piggy faces shouting at me for veg makes me smile.
