Painting guinea pig room

Anyone know if any paints are safe for me to paint the walls whilst guinea pig is in the room?

Hi

Use water based paints and if possible, keep your guinea pig in their carrier in a different room with plenty of hay or turn the shower or bathtub into an improvised temporary holding pen (make sure the plug holes are covered.

Air the room well before bringing them back.

I had that impression. But there are easier ways to keep piggies out of the way for a day or two if needed. :)

I have an old-fashioned traditional cage, which I use as a hospital or emergency accommodation. Getting a second-hand one is something that comes in handy for an owner of several guinea pigs and cages.

Make sure that the cage is protected by a dust sheet.
