Painting outdoor hutch?

Hi All,

We have just bought the P@H Foxglove hutch, 2 little girl piggies are arriving in a few weeks.

It’s the wood finish and it is luminous orange. You can see it from space

Has anyone successfully painted one with guinea safe paint and not murdered a family member through frustration and regret in the process?

Any photos of your handy work for inspiration would be great!

Cuprinol do a wide range of colours for outdoor painting that are safe for all animals (I’ve used it for painting animal runs and bird tables etc.) The only thing with cuprinol is that because it is an outdoor paint if you get it on something that you don’t want it to be on it’s very hard to remove as obviously it needs to be waterproof so make sure to put newspaper or something like that down before you paint as I didn’t and now have a bit of a blue rectangular outline on my patio!
