I would still aquire some pain relief hun as piggies are prey animals by nature they hide their illnesses and pain well. He may be eating and bombing around but since its broken he will mostly i would imagine be in pain of some level. aquire a dose for a day or too of pain relief and he will thank you for it :) healing vibes to him x
Will do thank you :) Will this make my other guinea pig notice zero is ill. Don't want him boss about zero any more than he does (rumblestrutt, occasionally little nips, mainly butts if in way that gizmo wants to go). x

You still need probiotics just to be on the safe side as the baytril can still upset his stomach

Update- Zero's toe was swollen this morning so i took him straight to the vets where she looked at it and then gave him an injection of pain relief 'metacam' i believe which she says will last a few days. He is also still on antibiotics to keep swelling down and i have just brought some Pro-C Probiotic to put in their water. Can i still put the vit c. liquid on their nuggets or just the pro c probiotic?
Thank you for all your support and advice. Think i have needed it with these two piggies being my first ever pets x

That's great he has had an injection but it will only last 24 hours, unless it is a super strong one I don't know about, so he will need oral Metacam once it has worn off.

The Pro C is best being given by syringe as it is not as effective in the water plus should be given at least an hour apart from the antibiotics.

Thank you. Would you still say put vit c drops on nuggets as well as probiotic? Thanks x

Yes it will all help in theory but maybe check the individual doses as Pro C has vitamin C in it.

I am so lost as to how much they are getting.
The bottle of Guinea pig vitamin solution with extra vit. C is 9000mg in 100ml bottle
The Pro-C Probiotic is 5ml scoop per 200g of water. Not sure if this will be to much. Don't want to harm my piggies.
@helen105281 - Thank you for your patience and help, really appreciate it. x

I have given them 1ml of pro biotic dissolved in 40ml water through a syringe they had 2 ml each and wouldn't take any more. After I noticed they have been drinking from their tap water, water bottles in the cage which they never usually do so taking it as a good sign.
