Hey guys,

So I've gone on a noodle soup RAMPAGE and bought some yummy pak choi. But I ALWAYS end up with the 2nd pak choi going limp and naff before I get a chance to eat it. So is it guineapig safe? I tried browsing the chart that keeps floating about, but pak choi isnt on there and I'm not sure how it is classified.

Cheeeers! Maya

p.s. just read up it's called a chinese cabbage - so thinking it might be ok in smaller amounts? also, heard they contain glucosinolates which can be toxic in humans when consumed in huge amounts. Will this translate to guineapigs on a smaller scale?

It's fine as a once in a while treat. My Clive adores it but he only gets the chance to nom it every couple of months or so.

hmm.. so I can't ration them with a whole one between them to spread over 3 days? :/

If you're only feeding them the same amount as you would in one serving then I wouldn't see a problem with that. I'd just be careful not to give them too much and don't give them any other similar items at the same time.

Variety is the essence of happiness :) unless you're into starched pants, cotton smock, porridge without sugar or salt and still use the same library card you were issued 17 years ago!
