Ok so Chocco and Marvin were getting a bit pongy and scratching a bit more then usual. So we decided to get some Georgeous Guineas Neem shampoo and some Xeno drops.
I can only say chaos ensued! :{
Had Chocco and Marvin shaking foam and water all over myself and tom, as well as them constantly trying to esacpe the sink.
Finally the trauma was over and dried them near a fan heater with lots of towels and goodies!

Does anyone have tips on bathing guineas, really want the next time to be less traumatic for both myself and my ickle darlings.

Most pigs dislike being bathed and when you're not used to bathing piggies, it can be tricky. For what you desribed, one tip would be to wrap the pigs up in towels while the shampoo is sinking in. Keeps them warm and you dry!

I found that giving Pigglywink tiny bits of treat while I was washing her helped, as well. I'd get her in the sink and my son would hold a tiny sprig of veg in front of her nose for her to eat, then get her wet, tiny bit of veg, then rub in the shampoo, tiny bit of veg... see the pattern? She still didn't like it, but she tolerated it, especially since that's when she normally got stuff she didn't get every day (spinach was her favourite bathtime food).

Mine hate bathtime too.

However, they feel a little bit more comforted if they can rest on my hand/arm whilst I bathe them. It makes a little harder for bathing them but at least they're happier that way.

I put mine in the bath, and they cant jump out and calm down quicker and i just talk to them while the shampoo is sinking in. I dont normally have too much bother when bathing them

Just bathed my piggie today and she jumped out of a bucket while i was filing the bath up, be warned they can jump
