Following all the issues I have come up against recently, I took the advice of a very clever person on here and used a paper plate to feed my 9 day old pups who are having trouble feeding from their mum because of her mastitis (clearing up nicely, thanks to Baytril). Pancake is on antibiotics right now following breathing problems. I suspect he inhaled some milk from the spoon as he gets so excited to be fed, but the vet wanted to make sure it wasn't Pneumonia.
This is Pancake, the messy little boy who is going to be a big, massive boar like his dad.
This is Jellybean who is a much cleaner little girl like her mum.
For those of you who have been following my threads, I may add the names of our lost babies to the end of theirs as a tribute and so that they will never and can never be forgotten. Like a middle name.
So it would be "Pancake Cotton Anderson" and "Jellybean Cocoa Anderson". Pancake always cuddled up and washed Cotton and Jellybean used to look after Cocoa. I thought it should be that way around.
