Ive just noticed when Pancake walks and runs around our living room she is holding up her back left leg. We had a look she didnt help when we touched it, the nails look ok and she is still her normal self, she keeps running but its bothering me as it doesnt look right! Anyone have any ideas? xx

If you pinch the skin on the paw she's holding up, do you get a reaction / can she feel it?

Could she have got it caught in something and maybe strained it?

Does it look the same size / colour as the other back foot?

She isnt yelping or anything, and when we touched the other leg we got the same reaction - movement but no squealing! We leave the cage open at the front so they jump through the front door and I wonder if she may have caught it on that? Not sure if its worth taking her to the vet? She isnt a vocal g-pig but still her usual self x

It could just be a bruise/landing awkwardly and she's favouring it just as you would favour a slightly turned ankle/foot. So give it a day to calm down if there is nothing obvious to see, try a foot soak in warm water to help it if you like and can manage it and have another look tomorrow. Sometimes there can be pain and care taken over a turned ankle/foot but only mild tissue damage that will heal on it's own.

Hope this helps - mine used to jump out of a cage so I've seen this for myself.

Thats what I wondered, will give it a day or 2 and she how it is, bless her, she will be spolit cuz I worry so much!

Today she is still limping but trying to popcorn at the same time! I'm letting her a leg stretch, I have thought about going to the vet but my local vet wants to charge me £25 to look at her, I'm not being mean but she doesnt seem bothered and there isnt anything on her leg causing concern. she just looks a bit apprehensive about jumping back in her cage but there is no other way as I cant catch her!

Looks more like a sprain then than anything more serious. she'll be hopefully back to normal in a few days.

All the best!
