Well, miss "Baggy" arrived here this morning. Her new name has been decided. Pandora is a good, strong name - my mum came up with it. Phoebe is a name that honours her past friend Beefy, who passed away earlier this week. My mum came up with that too! We both have to agree on a name that suits. :))

I've only got one reasonable picture of her at the moment, now she has settled down a bit she's letting her strong character and "baggy" attitude come right out! So far she's discovered her cuddlecup and teddy, thrown her pigloo around and munched on some hay and pellets. Even had a little popcorn in the cage!

What a beautiful photo of little Pandora! You've picked out two pretty names for her!

She's a very pretty girl and I just love her dark nostrils! x)

thats great news :p bet your spoiling her lol
love her new name xx

Thank you. :)

Nobody can see her through the C&C, she is living in the top right and, as the boys are now back in the top left, we've had to put a strip of correx on the divider between their cages to prevent any more trouble between the boys.

Saffron definitely knows Pandora is here though, she kept sniffing and looking upwards towards her cage!

Pandora is quite obviously a very feisty piggie. I wonder why I am always so drawn to the very stroppy ones? :))

CUTE. Her photo is lovely.

Glad she's finding her feet quickly and making herself at home. :)

Welcome Pandora Phoebe! I am so glad that you are going with this one; it suits her!

She is so beautiful in pigson (if not attitude), but I am glad that she is now settling in better tha when I met her this afternoon. Hopefully, you will get to know that special lady soon! She couldn't have come to a better or more loving home. I'm sure that you will work your charm on her... :))

If I hadn't be so sure that she'd hate my other girls' guts, she would have somehow disappeared... ;)

droolx) She's so cute! I love her white whiskers against the brown fur too! :)

So glad you posted the picture - I've been so excited to see...! rolleyes:(|)

Looking forward to hearing regular updates about her as she settles in.

Oh what a beautiful little face! And a lovely name - the Pheobe element in particular :) I hope she is doing well this morning and continuing to settle in :)

Thanks for asking after her, Mandy. :)

She has been timid and is still a bit bewildered so I'm not keen to try getting any new photos at the moment, even though I would love to...maybe in another few days. I did manage to weigh her yesterday and she's 963g, in the same weight range as Delilah, Gwen and Willa. She's had quite a few long cuddles, is slowly getting used to things, becoming a bit more animated when being cuddled and easier to pick up and place back down. We have determined that she doesn't like herbs just yet - parsley and coriander are being left alone. Carrot, romaine, pepper, cucumber and babycorn have all gone down well though. She's drinking and eating hay and pellets no problem, and spending most of her time in her pigloo or in one of the cosies, settling in well.

She's got a way to go yet before she's used to us and her surroundings, and I do think when we finally discover a friend for her she will be much happier. For now, she's getting lots of cuddles and treats and we're just taking it day by day with her.

I've totally fallen for her though, I love her to bits. :rose

Pandora couldn't have come to a better home, and I'm sure that she will continue to come out of herself with all your tlc!

I know what a beautiful girl she is - looking forward to pictures when she is right and ready!

I just wanted to say you chose a lovely name for her much nicer than baggy! :)

She certainly is beautiful - I had the pleasure of a cuddle last time I visited Vikki. I have a real soft spot for rex pigs and she's a lovely colour.

Hope she continues to make progress in her 5* home :)

Thank you, she is an absolute sweetie to cuddle...once you get hold of her. :))

I finally have more photos! She had a brilliant day yesterday, really came out of her shell. She now prefers sleeping with a teddy on a cosy. She will come out to eat and drink while I'm next to the cage, even when I'm doing the daily poop-hoovering. She's the same today, confidence is really building.

She had her first floor time last night. I didn't want to overwhelm her to soon but last night seemed a good time. She started off clinging desperately to my knee...

... but I gently lifted her off and she pottered very nervously for a few minutes. Then she got brave and met Meghan and Frankie through the cage bars!

And she also found a big teddy close by too, perfect for climbing all over:

A few better profile pics of her. You can't really see the satin in her until the sun shines.

I have also settled on a birthday for her, 9 July 2008. :)

Gorgeous pics - she really is so beautiful with her golden patch on one side! x)x)x) I can only imagine what that'll look in the sunshine!

I am glad that Pandora is settling in as well and is starting to make friends with other piggies.
