Both Emma and Ellen have had ongoing urine issues for the last few years. After many tests where nothing was found, they have both been diagnosed with IC.

I've had no problems for at least 8 months but I've just found a blood soaked wood shaving :(

I'm now in panic mode and not sure what to do! They are both due to have their urnie checked at the end of the month will it wait until then? Obviously I will take them sooner if they present with symptoms.

There's no symptoms, just this one blood soaked piece of wood shaving mixed in with wee.

Is it possible that one of them is just having an IC flare? I was hoping we had got over this :(

For peace of mind I'd be inclined to have them seen by the vet asap, especially because the blood can be coming from other places than the urinary tract. *hugs*
 
Oh no I'm sorry to hear that. It could very well be a flare up of IC. Toast used to get little flares when she was stressed then it would go away on its own. But you're right probably best to have them checked incase. I hope all goes well x
 
We had wine last night as well. The roofers turned up at 7.30. Got all my cuddles wrapped up so they don't get dirty. We had builders till 10 o'clock last night.

Thanks Kath. They are both doing well ad I haven't seen any blood today.

My gut feeling is that the blood came from Ellen and that she is having an IC episode although I can't definitely be sure it did come from her.

I hope that both you and Dave are enjoying your new girls :)

Thanks Claire all 3 girls are settling in & we're really enjoying them. They're still a bit nervous so we just taking it slow & letting them adjust. Xx
