Never knew piggies loved paper bags so much have given my three one each and they love them!
 
To eat or just play with? Plain paper should be fine to chew, it's is only a form of wood. Glossy/coloured paper not really recommended for eating. Try them with a cardboard box for somewhere to go into. That should provide them and you with much pleasure as they modify it to their requirements.
 
My indoor piggie Pumpkin LOVES paper bags, she never nibbles at the both loves to sit in there munching hay, i often find her curled up asleep in one. I must get a photo of it it is sooooo cute:a19::a19:
 
Mine love paper bags and cardboard sweetie boxes that I pinch from the supermarket to play in and nibble and hide under. xx

Mine love playing in boxes, must try the paper bags .....

We are down the road from each other, I am in Hadleigh!
 
They do both my boar scruffy made a hole in the other end so he could keep running through it very cute to watch
 
Mine love paper bags stuffed with hay - they also love bursting a hole at the closed end and then chasing each other through the bag. rolleyes
 
yes george eats a whole bag if I don't fish it out in time! :)) I try to only give them ** and again as can't do him much good eating all that paper. I have the brown ones so no dye / printing etc..
