Just an update for you all. Sausage is doing really well! He is walking around like nothing ever happened. I still have them in the smaller cage but I will put them back in their bigger cage without the ramp after a little while. I still can't believe the treatment from the vet and it makes me so sad to think about how many piggies have been put to sleep with no need! Thank you all again for your support in this x

Thanks for the update! That's fantastic news. He's clearly a very determined little piggy :)

I am thrilled to hear he has recovered. It is very worrying to think of the vets suggestion.

Just caught up with your thread. So pleased hes okay and thanks for sharing his story.May save another piggies life

I'm really glad to hear that Sausage has recovered from his injury. I agree with you that having Ted in with him would have aided recovery. I did the same with Minky on Saturday. She developed a head tilt 4 weeks ago and had been OK but not really getting better. I put her in the run with 2 of her companions & she has improved remarkably in the short time she's been with them.
