parsley

I feed my guineas fresh parsley but have recently(today) read that it is poisonus.is this true?

Parsley is fine. I wouldn't give it too often maybe twice a week.

I grow my own parsley, both curled and flat leaved, and feed my piggies with it. Only in moderation though and they enjoy it.
I thought it was ok to feed it but only recently have done so as my parsley is growing out of control! ;D

Flat leaf is better as curly is high in calcuim

my gp's are pretty good at sharing but when it comes to parsley it's every pig for himself >

It is a joy to watch my piggies start on the stalk of the parsley and it is as if by magic gradually the whole lot disappears into their mouths! ;D ;D

All 6 of my boys are utter floosies for parsley. They will flutter their eyelashes (if they had any) and wiggle their bums and definately steal from their mate if he doesn't eat it quick enough. I give them each a little sprig every morning, and I mean small cos it is high in calcium but they're all standing at the edges of their cages waiting for it. It's ridiculous! Think it's like crack for piggies. 98)

i have only fed mine parsely once. They loved it. but they like apples better...
