For some enrichment and something different i grated a carrot and then wrapped it in a couple of sheets of newspaper (no sellotape) and then put it in with the piggies which turned into tug of war between cottonbud and jive. Furby decided she was stealing it off both them :) the package more then more gutted than unwrapped but kept them entertained for 10 minutes once all the carrot was demolished cottonbud started on the newspaper so i took it away just incase she ate too much

have a go it is really funny to watch - sorry did not have camera handy

Make sure that you have the camera ready next time round! PLEASE with little grass seeds on top!
 
They must have enjoyed playing find the carrot. The things that keep our furry friends amused.:))

yes it was hilarious to watch, although with more than a trio you may need more than one package to stop all out war breaking out! now i shall have to think of some more ways to entertain the piggies!
 
That does sound like great fun!

Good thing with piggies is they won't get bored of it too easily, unlike kids who get fed up after the first time. rolleyes
 
laura i don't think you would play pass the parcel round all your cages lol it would never make it round all the cages before the music stopped lol
 
I have done that with paper bags. I have hidden veggies in bags and then they have to work out how to get to the veggies. Some of my piggies were smart and went through the opening, some chewed through the bottom as they were too impatient!

I will have to try the ball thing though!
