My beautiful little sow has crossed the bridge unexpectedly. My partner went to give them their tea and she had gone. I didn't know she was unwell, she had her regular monthly dental last week. I have two other pigs that I've been giving extra t.l.c to as they've been under the weather. I can't believe she's gone. I'm so sorry

I'm not sure what to do with her companion, should I leave him in their pen for now, or move him next to some other pigs immediately? I'm an experienced GP owner and have lost them before but his has totally blindsided me and I can't think straight

I'm very sorry. :(
Piggies are very good at hiding an illness. And sometimes the end comes so quick and without any foreboding.
Please don't blame yourself.

He's lying next to her under a log arch, but I'm not sure if I should leave her there overnight

I’m so sorry for your unexpected loss. I would leave her with him for a little while and then remove her. There’s no rush to move him as long as he’s eating ok and not pining too much.

So sorry for your loss.
It’s hard when it comes out of the blue like that.
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve
