Patrick here - I'm fed up of my slave typing for me. I thought it was about time I provided my own thread, with pictures of me of course.

You see, I'm a very vain Guinea Pig, spoiled to! My slave just roles her eyes at me, she's very clever! She can tell I'm passing blood just from my squeak. I guess she does have the best teacher!

Well my Slave was away, her mum was to give me my med's it took 30 minutes to give me 0.3mls of Baytril, I kept squeaking and the silly hooman didn't want to hurt me so waited until I ACCEPTED my medicine - yes they are insane. I don't like it, I don't do opening my mouth and saying AH!

Oh the plus side - I gained 50 grams, every time I hopped to the bar's she fed me so I spent a lot of my time pretending to be upset. Ooo I wish my slave was as gullible.

Anyway's enough about me, let's look at me now..

Something's don't change - getting my well deserved treat.

Patrick x) What are the dried grasses you are giving him? I just got some dandelion & oat grass & wondered what it was like? It looks similar :)

Burns meadow mix for rabbits - Dandelion, Chicory, plantain, mint, chamomile, marigold, nettle, birch tree leaf, willow bark.

I won it ages ago he just gets a little after med's.

Aw bless him hope he's doing a bit better now. What treatment will he have next?

We're going to do another urine culture - but we have been speaking about an injectable antibiotic it really is a killer in terms of infection and is tolerated well by Guinea Pig's if given by injection, soon there aren't many more options but thankfully my vet doesn't want to do any invasive test's and we're all on the one wavelength but it's good an infection is present so maybe Patrick will be pain free soon!

Another Urine Culture next and see if the injectable antibiotic will kill it.
 
I will keep my fingers crossed for you, he really is such a lovely boy, I do have such a soft spot for fuzzy piggies :)
 
Hello Patrick you beautiful boy! I'm very pleased to see you now have your own thread and you can let your slave have a rest for a bit whilst you are typing to us all!

Hi Patrick, Dindy here. I don't blame you for starting your own thread, my slave was talking to yours earlier today and he was too busy to get off the **** to let me out to see Tufty who was doing a very manly rumblestrut in front of my pen. My slave told me later that Tufty has to be 'sorted' before we can run around together, 'Whatever' i said.

I was at my lowest weight in July weighing 824 grams - I needed my toothies filed, well my slave managed to get me back up to 864 grams. She had assumed I would never gain my lost weight. Well she didn't tell me about this, the much nicer parent was watching us I put on 50 grams and am now 910 grams - what doe's that tell you?

My slave clearly starves me! x
