Iv just been giving my boys some veg and cuddles and noticed a big lump under paulies belly :( Its sort of hard and sharp, like a broken bone. He isnt sowing signs of any pain. Doesnt mind me checking it out and he is still eating his food.

I am going to ring my vet now and get him seen but i have never been to them for caveys before and so not sure how well they are with them. Can any one recommend one in or around wigan?

I'm mega worried about him :( do you think him not showing signs of pain is a good thing?

Hi, I live in Wigan and take my boars to Vets4Pets in Wigan, tel 01942 824455 I know another piggy owner on here works there as a nurse too.

I found them very good when Bubbles had a UTI earlier this year.

Good luck x

Thanks hun. I rang my vets right after posting. Had a good chat with them and the do seem to be very knowlagable with piggies so i booked him in. Tbh I'm in a bit of a panic reLly. I love them so much and my mind is running wild. I know they are very good at hiding pain and illness so i am fearing the worst now. He is in his bed now and seems relaxed. Appointment is at 5.50. This is going to be a long day. I also take my buns to them and they are great with them both :) x
