My darling Pauline had to go today. 8...
I still can't believe she is not there any more, after all those months of special care, she was so integrated into my daily routine (I set the clock for her feedings and ran to the cage all the time to see how she is, and always tried to come up with what she might want to eat, I neglected social life because she needed so much care), I miss her so much.
Her friend Ben misses her as well. He will have to pick out a new roommate soon.

Rest in piece, Pauline, I will never forget you.

Rachel

Rachel - as you know through our pms - I think you have been incredibly brave and also you really could not have done more for Pauline. She is happy playing over the Rainbow Bridge now with Pheebs and Emily and you can certain rest assured nothing else could be done.

Sending you lots of love and big hugs.

Helen.

Rest in Peace darling Pauline. You are now at rest.

I am just back from the funeral. My parents in law allowed me to bury Pauline in their garden, and I made a nice "gravestone" (well, it is wooden, because I am not so good at carving stones) for her, like I did for my rabbit Gwyneth and for Pheebs last year. Pauline is now buried next to Pheebs and Gwynnie.

I am now thinking about getting some nice stones or some artificial flowers to put on the graves (real flowers might not be able to grow there, is is a hidden place underneath some high trees without any sunlight).

So sorry to hear about Pauline. She was stunning.

I sympathise with you as I was used to devoting alot of time to Joey each day and when he passed away recently, I felt very strange.

Rest in peace little Pauline and run free xx
