I have 3 girl piggies, one of them is a bully and so has to live in a separate cage next to the other 2. The 2 together are sisters and came from a piggy breeder.
One of the sisters developed small lumps on her front paws, I took the sisters to have their nails cut back at the breeder's shop and whilst there asked about the lumps, the woman said they are warts and not to worry about them unless they cause problems.
I have now noticed her sister has got a couple of the same looking lumps on her front paws.

So, what I would like to know is, should I be worried and taking them to a vet? The piggies are otherwise well; eating/drinking/playing normally.

Warts

If they are dark brown, then one of mine has them too. He's had them for ages and they've never bled or caused any problems. I check his feet regularly to make sure they're not getting bigger or anything but have often wondered what caused them.
I would also love a bit more insight on this subject :)

sometimes pigs can get calasts(sp?) on their front fet, it is like a hard extra bit og bron skin, mot can just be clipped off when they get thair nails trimmed or even just brake off easily with your nail, but if they are calasts they are nothing to worry about
