My poor little Peachy battled on for nearly a week. Tried everything and gave her lots of TLC but her lungs were not strong enough.
The vet was so good and listened to the advice I took him from this forum but he felt whoever had syringe fed her as a baby got to much food/fluid into her lungs.
She passed away in my husbands arms last night. 12 weeks old.
Truffle seems fine as she had been staying away from Peachy because Peachy kept trying to get underneath her for comfort and she didn't want her there all the time.

A local lady has a single baby sow from an unexpected rescue piggy? I am hoping she will be a friend.
Peachy never had the energy to run around with Truffle and I am hoping that Truffle will like a bouncy friend to play with as she has been quiet for a few days as Peachy has got worse.

I'm so sorry that you've lost Peachy despite all your best efforts. How heartbreaking for you.

Hopefully something will come of the baby rescue piggy and truffle can have a friend again soon.
RIP Peachy x

BIG HUGS

I am so sorry that you have lost Peachy despite all you and your vet did. Unfortunately, syringe feeding babies can kill the way it has Peachy; I am warning about it in my pregnancy guides for a good reason. :(

Peachy has known love and care in her short live, thanks to you.

PS: You are also welcome to have the new baby sexed in our pregnancy section for a second opinion if you wish to.

Thank you everybody. This is such a kind forum with lovely people saying lovely words.

Remember the life you gave her the play time, the cuddles, i am sure she loves you as much as you love her!
