He is wheezing again. This will be the third time I will have taken him to the vets for a URI. He is four months old. He is sneezing a bit too. Is there something I am doing wrong? I have put Peanut on the meds we were using before, but they don't seem to be doing much. When my sister gets back from the airport we will schedule an appointment with the vet. Suggestions that might help Peanut?

sorry Peanut is poorly, I can't offer any advice except if you have been 3 times to the vet and he is not improving, is there another vet near you?/

I have a wheezypig who's been to the vet 3 times and they've said he diesn't have an i.fection, he gets hayfever! This dies actually make sense as it becomes notucable if I put lits of hay in or try a new type. I still take I'm to the vets if he gets really bad, but it's somwhig else to consider.

I have taken him to two different vets and the last time they couldn't find anything because he wouldn't wheeze for the vet. I have continued the meds the last vet gave me. This battle has been going on for almost two months. I have heard something about URI piggies and being near the shower? I may be making this up out of nowhere.

I am very sorry little Peanut is not doing well. Is he bedded on shavings? This will add to his wheeze.

Have you changed washing powder or anything recently, that maybe irritating him? Has the vet listened to his breathing etc...? Is he wheezing all the time or is there a pattern?

No, I have not changed anything, this battle against the URI has been going on for almost two months. And two different vets listened to his breathing. They said he is fine, but they gave me meds because I was hearing and watching the stuff go on. Going to the vets tomorrow hopefully.

Sorry to hear about little Peanut :0
eeeeeek he just can't seem to kick this URI can he :...
Whee hope that the vets can give him more meds and that he'll be back to his wheeeeky self again soon!

The vet said it was probably a viral type thing that would just have to get out of his system. I haven't heard of this. Any advise?
