Peanut & Mario

Since the sad passing of Buddy and Frankie. I decided to put Peanut and Mario together to see if they were a match. And luckily they were. Mario is so so laid back. And Peanut is happy he’s the boss. I fully cleaned down my bigger cage (7x2 c&c with 1x2 loft) and put them in after a few hours in the playpen. I’ve already seen Peanut grooming Mario, something he never did to Buddy. (Buddy was slightly crabbit lol) so despite all the sorrow at least these 2 seem happy together and I’m taking comfort in that.

I’ve decided to stick at 2 piggies that way they get more time and attention. I’m not saying it’s forever as I’ve no willpower at all. But for now it’s 2 piggies for me.

Lol. I am definitely sticking to 2 as I will have more time to spoil them now. 2 hamsters, 2 piggies, 2 fish & 1 dog. (I need another dog.) lol.

Yes it feels like a more manageable number. And they will get more attention now. And be even more spoilt.

Best of friends already. I actually feel incredibly guilty now that Peanut lived with Buddy as he seems far far happier now there’s less teeth chattering from him. But I suppose each bond is different and Peanut and Buddy had a love hate relationship.
