Aww it is great peanut has friends. Is that cage 120 cm? If so I am afraid it is only suitable for two piggies not four.

Hooray for peanut!

Is this the piggies permanent home? If it is then it's a little too small for them. It would be awful for them to fall out because they are getting under each other's paws! Although piggies love company, and it's wonderful that you've found Peanut some friends, they also like to have some of their own space.

Have you had a look in our housing section? There are some excellent ideas in there for making the most of your space. C&C cages may suit you.

Is peanut a boy? Are his new friends also boys? Or is peanut neutured and now in with some ladypigs?

I thought it too small for them, i got them saturday, they were in an indoor run in the living room for 2 days whilst they got to know each other, (huge outdoor run) I do have a smaller cage, would it be ok too split them up? wouldn't want them too fall out... They are all male , the other 3 are brothers, they have accepted peanut greatly , there all of similar age..

I would pair them up and have them living as pairs. This will help prevent them from falling out.

Gorgeous piggies.

You will definitely need a larger space for 4 piggies and there is always the chance of 4 boys not working out also especially when they get hormonal.

2 Pair may be a better idea overall for you, you'd need two 120cm cages

They look adorable, I'm glad peanut has friends, I had five girls in the similar 3 level 120cm cage which i thought would be okay but they all use to hang out at the bottom and i had to split them into pairs as they started to bicker, they weren't really bothered by being paired up as they had their best friend with them.

I ended up splitting it into 3 different homes by blocking up the holes for my six and now i don't have any bickering unless their in season!

What are their names?

:)

Thanks :) my little girl has called them, fudge, boss and yellow lol... they are all together now, although peanut and yellow have their moments, its usually peanut who runs away... yellow seems to boss them all around if i be honest.. Its nice to have what seems like a family of guinea pigs, doing guinea pig things... think peanut being on his own lost some of his guinea instincts.. others are bringing him out of it, lots of guinea pigs noises and popcorning by all ...

I have used puppy pads which are covered up by an old sofa throw, made sure the ends of throw are tucked out under rim of run so they cant go under and eat puppy pads.. seems to be doing the trick nicely... although my front room has been over taken lol.. not for much longer :) Soon have a suitable cage for them all.. then when the weathers nicer i have a hutch which fits nicely in the run to nibble on grass and sunbathe ...
