Peanut my syrian hamster died only a few moments ago, a blessing really as he appeared very unwell. He was fine on Friday i put him in his ball to run around while i cleaned his cage, put him abck he was ok by Saturday morning he was in his spaceship looking quite deshevlled. This morning he was not moving one bit, i placed him up in his houe and that is where he stayed until he passed away at 16months. I can't help but blame myself :'( :'(

Will miss you peanut, my own first hamster is always the hardest to lose :'(
 
Sorry to hear of your loss, he looked a very happy and content hamster so please dont blame yourself, i know it must be hard

Its not yuor fault and i know its terrible when losing any animal :'( You just got to keep strong for your others as you cant change back time now so you have to deal with the loss but keep in mind the ones you still have :smitten: Just think of all the happy memorys of him ;)
 
Its not your fault, sometimes llittle hammys just don't live so long, poor little fella. He looks like he in enjoying his cage!

i used to have a couple hamsters many years ago one of them kinda looked like yours :smitten:
hamsters are great friends to have too just like guinea pigs
