I got a New Guinea pig about 12 hours ago.She doesn't drink from her water,eats her pellets,or eats her veggies.She also grinds her teeth alot and sneezed about 3 or 4 times today.I dont know if any of this is okay?I am a new user so could someone please help!88

Because she is so new, she will eat and drink when no one is in the room. Guinea pigs are naturally wary due to them being prey animals. Give peanut some time to get used to you. Socialize with him/her by snuggling and giving treats. They come around eventually

She got over her fear of me and doesn't grind her teeth.She sneezes a lot.About 12 times today

Maybe you should just pop her to the vets for a check-up once she's a bit more settled to make sure that the sneezing is nothing to worry about. What bedding is she on?

Her sneezing is a worry. I would take her to the vets. If you have her on shavings I would switch to fleece or vetbed as shavings can cause allergies.

She uses fleece.I don't have an actual vet so is it okay to g to petsmart or petco?
