Some of you may be familiar with Pearl and her health issues. She had difficulty moving, difficulty breathing (sometimes), hair loss, and peed on herself a lot. Pearl didn’t make it today.

She was with me an entire third of my life, and I miss her very much.

I know eventually I’ll have to move on and adopt another pig for Zip. I was wondering when I’m supposed to get her a new friend.

RIP Pearl

I am really sorry for the loss of your little piggy, she had a wonderful life with you please try and remember that. Massive hugs

How is little Zip doing, please have a read of this thread here Looking After A Bereaved Guinea Pig
Sleep well little one

RIP Pearl

So sorry to hear of your loss. Pearl was well loved. She is now in her prime popcorning and playing zoomies at the Rainbow Bridge and munching on fresh grass.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Try to remember her at her best. Popcorn free Pearl x

I wasn’t there when Pearl died, but my dad said Zip licked Pearl’s feet. I read on the thread you linked to that licking eyes was normal. What does licking feet mean?

Zip is a little less enthusiastic about feeding time now. But she is still eating. She finished all her pellets by the time I came back from school.

Just the same really, she was saying goodbye to her friend.
