i read on the danger list about dried peas. silly question but are peas in the pod and sugar snap peas ok?

Yes they are fiine, several of mine love peas especially the pods when they are in season . one used to love de- frosted frozen peas.

I was going to post about this too. I read peas in a pod but when I looked in the supermarket they were about £3 and because I only have one little man they go to waste. Sugar snap and mange tout are so much cheaper and I can buy them loose but I didn't know if they could have them so thanks for the answer.

My little boy had his first brussell sprout and unlike me and probably most of the british population he liked it!

LMAO my lot love sprouts too - daft bunch!

I honestly beleive it's the first sprout ever to be eaten in my house. I bought 3 single sprouts and think the women at the checkout thought I was mad!

Unfortunately there is one thing he likes eating more than sprouts, parsley and the like.... MY FINGER! He's a crazy little thing which is why I think he needs a friend!

none of mine will tocuh brussell sprouts..they look at me in disgust! lol

I rushed out to buy some sugarsnap peas last night and after all that he doesn't seem too fussed!

Spudnik - Your guinea pig looks identical to mine (so cute)... if only Spike didn't move when I try to get a picture I could get a close up.

I usually buy peas in the pod late summer when supermarkets sell them loose ( ie not pre packed) and can get as many or few as I want.
