Adult Guinea Pig
I've just taken George and Gerry to the local vets for a pedicure as now I'm on my own I just can't do their nails because they're too big for me to hold with one hand! 
I was greeted by a new vet who's first words to me were "ooo lovely, guinea pigs" he then preceeded to coo over George saying he looked just like his guinea pig Bubbles. He was chatting away to both of them telling them how good they were being and saying "no wriggling little one" and what lovely shiney coats they have, they're in lovely condition etc. What a joy to have a vet who loves guinea pigs and has even owned them! I have a feeling I shall be using my local vets more often.
He was really interested to know which rescue I'd adopted them from as well so although I'm not sure how experienced he is at treating them he certainly has the enthusiasm and loves them and I have the feeling will be prepared to listen and learn from the other vet I go to in Reading.
